Import into Catalog
Importing the product in the catalog should only be done if the product is not currently in the catalog. To import a product into the catalog, you'll need to first make sure you're on the catalog site. Check to make sure "Metron Branding" appears on the top to ensure you're on the catalog website. From there, log in to the admin panel. At the top of nav bar, click the "Import" button then click "Product Data Import from Supplier"
After clicking "Product Data Import from Supplier", fill out the required information and click "Import". Make sure all required fields are filled out or the import won't work properly.
Import: Select "Upload File" if you'll be uploading an excel file or "Input Styles" if you'll be manually entering in the information
Upload File: Upload your excel file here
Website: Select what website you'll be importing the product to (this should always be Catalog Store)
Supplier: Select the supplier you'll be importing the product from
Crop Image: Check this if you'd like the image to be cropped to remove white space
Import Preference: Override existing products will replace/update any products that match the supplier product numbers that you're adding. Ignore existing products will cause those supplier product numbers to be skipped.
Set Sourcing Supplier SKU: This can be left unchecked
Skip Category Import: This will skip pulling the categories from the supplier database, keep this checked on.
Skip Sellable Product: This can be left unchecked unless you receive an import error specifying sellable product
Skip Sellable Product: This can be left unchecked unless you receive an import error specifying missing pricing
Import Preference: This can be left as "Default"
EQP: This can be left as "1"
Pricing Config Type: This can be left blank
